Welcome! If you’re interested in being a potential resident in APAH’s upcoming Fisher House II, you’ve found the right page. Here you’ll find information about the apartments, as well as how to submit a wait-list application for residency.
Anticipated Completion
Move-ins are currently expected to begin in September 2018 and will continue through January 2019.
Please note: the development is still under construction and interested renters may NOT enter the building or construction site.
How to Submit a Wait-list Application
The Fisher House II leasing office is now accepting waitlist applications! You can find a link to the application here.
There are three ways to submit a waitlist application:

- In person or by mail: The Springs Apartments, 555 N. Thomas Street, Arlington, VA 22203

- 2 Type A accessible units; 8 units designated for permanent supportive housing

Utilities
Residents will pay for their own electricity (HVAC, cooking, lighting). APAH pays for water, sewer, trash and recycling collection costs and water heating.
Affordable Housing Requirements
Applicants should be aware that applications for affordable housing involve providing documentation of income and assets for all household members, including but not limited to tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements and benefit information. In addition, applicants must fall within the minimum and maximum income levels:

Parking
Fisher House II has street parking and a limited number of unassigned off-street private spaces.
Smoke Free Building
Please note that Fisher House II will be a smoke free property. Residents will not be permitted to smoke anywhere in the building, including in their apartments.
Pets
Residents may have up to two pets – dogs and cats are both allowed, with some breed restrictions – with payment of pet deposit ($400) and monthly fee ($30) per pet.
Rental Assistance
Fisher House II accepts Housing Choice Vouchers and Arlington County Housing Grants.

Keep in mind, applications for residency at APAH properties are competitive, with more applications received than apartments available. Columbia Hills is now accepting waitlist applications, and Gilliam Place will soon be leasing!
