Legacy Society
The Legacy Society was created to honor individuals for their commitment to inclusive communities with affordable housing and opportunity for all. We are grateful to our generous donors who remember APAH with a legacy gift. Your support ensures our long-term financial strength and our capacity to continue to build affordable homes and provide life-changing services.
We know that making a difference is important to you. By making a planned gift to APAH, you help guarantee that children, families, seniors and so many more low-income neighbors have access to high quality affordable homes. To discuss options and learn more about how you can leave a legacy, please contact us.
Have you already named APAH as a beneficiary of your estate? Please let us know right away by calling or filling out the member profile form so we can recognize and thank you as a member of the Legacy Society!
Your willingness to be listed as a member of the Legacy Society encourages others to follow your example. We acknowledge and respect those who wish to remain anonymous, but we urge you to let us know of your plans on a confidential basis.
Meet the Members of the Legacy Society
The establishment of APAH’s Legacy Society was inspired by the generous bequest of Carrie Johnson, an activist, advocate, mentor, and community planner who supported APAH and our work through her estate. In her memory, APAH named the activity space at Queens Court Apartments the Carrie Johnson Community Room. Our young residents will also find there a collection of children’s books on the importance of community participation which were contributed by Carrie’s friends in hopes of inspiring a next generation of civic leaders.
