Resident Council
Partnering with our residents to meet their current and future needs is one way APAH respects and raises their voices. After a delay due to COVID, the Resident Council finally launched in early 2022.
Members of this year’s resident council represent all of APAH’s residents and properties but call Arlington Mill, Buchanan Gardens, Columbia Grove, Columbia Hills, Fisher House, Gilliam Place, Leckey Gardens, Marbella, Parc Rosslyn, The Springs, and Queens Court home.
The Resident Council will bring value to our community through efforts and actions representing their respectful properties and fellow residents. Members will build relationships with fellow residents and communicate for, and with, residents. This will bring to the attention of APAH and S.L. Nusbaum (our property management company) new issues or potential problems that need to be addressed. Acting as ambassadors for fellow residents, members can help APAH ensure we are living up to our goal of providing safe, quality, affordable places to live.
At its first meeting, the Resident Council identified opportunities to engage and volunteer with residents throughout the year. We look forward to seeing this leadership group enhance the lives and voices of our neighbors.
